Baked beans with bacon

Prepare the Kamado BONO grill for indirect cooking, light the charcoal tanner, place the stainless steel grill and baking stone, wait until the temperature rises to 170 degrees. Close the upper and lower air dampers to keep the temperature even.
Fry the onions in a pan with butter until soft and translucent.
Mix well beans, fried onions, tomato sauce, mustard, molasses and brown sugar. Pour into a prepared baking dish. Lining the top with side strips.
Bake in indirect heat for 2-3 hours. The beans are prepared when the top is dark and caramelized. Serve warm.
TIP: You can cook at a low temperature for 6-8 hours, then the taste will be even more wonderful.

2 large onions
2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup molasses
3 tablespoons mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp Teriyaki BBQ Sauce
15 slices cold smoked bacon
Pepper
