Turkey kebabs with tzatziki sauce

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground turkey
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • For the sauce:
  • Four small cucumbers
  • Salt
  • 1–2 garlic cloves
  • 300 ml natural yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped dill
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
  • 1–2 tablespoons white wine vinegar

Recipe

  1. Turkey kebabs with tzatziki sauce: Prepare the Kamado BONO grill for direct cooking, light the charcoal with a starter, place the stainless steel grates, and wait until the temperature rises to 200 degrees.
  2. Close the top and bottom vents slightly to maintain an even temperature.
  3. Season the meat with spices, squeeze in lemon juice, add crushed garlic and breadcrumbs, and mix everything well.
  4. Shape the meat and thread it onto wooden skewers that have been soaked in water, then wait until the grill is hot.
  5. Grill for about 20 minutes, turning constantly.
  6. Sauce preparation:
  7. Grate the cucumbers coarsely into a bowl, sprinkle with salt, and let them sit for a while.
  8. Add finely chopped garlic cloves on top of the cucumbers.
  9. Pour in yogurt, add sour cream, chopped mint and dill, a spoonful of vinegar, and mix everything well.
  10. Serve with vegetables.
  11. Enjoy your meal.
