Ingredients

  • 300 g herring fillet
  • 5 medium-sized potatoes
  • 50 g onions
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 100 ml oil
  • 200 g cottage cheese
  • 1 tsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • A bunch of fresh dill
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Salt, pepper

Recipe

  1. Grated potato pancakes with cottage cheese cream and herring grate:  the potatoes and mix them with eggs, flour, and finely chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix the cottage cheese with mayonnaise and sour cream, chop in some dill and garlic, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Prepare the Kamado BONO grill for direct cooking, light the charcoal with a starter, place the cast iron frying pan, and wait until the temperature reaches 200 degrees Celsius. Partially close the upper and lower air vents to maintain a stable temperature. Insert a cast iron pan.
  4. Fry the pancakes in heated oil, top with the cream mixture and diced herring.
  5. Enjoy!
